The American famous \u201cMetropolitan Museum of Art\u201d has published on its official website, an art painting, dating back to the Ottoman era, which lists what it described the first historical stages leading to the Battle of Karbala. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In its description of the painting which is entitled \u201cThe Assassination of the Prophet\u2019s Family\u201d by the Ottoman artist and poet \u201cLami Chalabi,\u201d said: \u201cIt portrays the Prophet of Islam Muhammad (peace be upon him and his pure family) delivering a sermon on top of a pulpit and on his left side is Ali bin Abi Talib and his two sons \u2013 Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein (peace be upon them), in the presence of a gathering of the people of Medina.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
