Shiawaves\u2019 Canada correspondent said that the center organized a campaign in the presence of some Muslim and Jewish associations to demand the Canadian government to prevent cremation of the dead COVID-19 bodies. Tens of thousands of signatures were collected, resulting in the government’s approval not to cremate the body and bury them according to Islamic law.<\/p>\n
He added that, following the decision, Muslims are allowed to prepare, shroud and bury the dead according to the teachings of Islamic law, stressing that the Imam Al-Shirazi Center has taken upon itself the responsibility of carrying out these rites.<\/p>\n
