For the second week in a row, the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, affiliated to the Shirazi Religious Authority in the holy city of Karbala, held a session to discuss its major development project (Vision of Holy Karbala 2030 – 50 million pilgrims in Arbaeen), with the participation of experts and specialists in various fields. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The session, which was held at the headquarters of the Imam Hussein Media Group, witnessed a great interaction from the attendees, who emphasized the importance of realizing such a project, which is in line with the requirements of achieving sustainable development for Iraq for the year (2030). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The director of the Foundation, Abd al-Sahib al-Kishwan, said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency: “The Foundation held its second session to discuss this project, which looks at early preparation to embrace the increasing numbers of millions of pilgrims during the holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added, “The discussion session was attended by a number of experts, academics, and former government officials, including Engineer Basem Abbas, former Director of Urban Planning, Engineer Mazen Al-Yasiri, former Director of Municipalities, and Engineer Fayez Abu Tahin, former Director of Karbala Electricity.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
