More than 400 million children live in areas wracked by conflict; an estimated 1 billion children\u2014nearly half of the world\u2019s children\u2014live in countries that are most vulnerable to the effects of climate change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At least 36.5 million children have been displaced from their homes; and 8 million children under the age of five in 15 countries devastated by crises are at risk of dying from severe malnutrition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
