The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on Sunday the arrest of eight \u201cterrorists\u201d in six Iraqi cities, including the federal capital, Baghdad. In a press statement, the Security Cell said that \u201cbased on accurate intelligence information of the intelligence and security departments and divisions in Basra, Maysan and Anbar Operations Command, elaborate ambushes were set up in separate areas of the above governorates.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It added, “The operations resulted in the arrest of eight terrorists wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law in the districts of Al-Qaim, Tal Afar, Qalaat Saleh, Hit and Al-Mahmudiyah, on the outskirts of the southern capital, Al-Ramadi and Al-Madinah.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
