The head of the Astronomical Society in Jeddah, Majid Abu Zahra, explained that the moon will rise in Mecca from the northeastern horizon with sunset, which means that it will simulate the high path of the summer sun after 6 months across the night sky, according to the Saudi Press Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also added that this will be followed by the arrival of the moon at the moment of perpendicularity with the honorable Kaaba at 08:06 pm Mecca time, and it will be at a height of 89.5 degrees above the horizon of Mecca, illuminated by 98.3%, and at a distance of 396.535 km.
