With the approach of the winter season in Afghanistan, the institutions of the honorable Shirazi Religious Authority moved to extend a helping hand to the poor Shia families in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this regard, the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, took the initiative to distribute heaters to the families of orphans and needy people in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A statement from His Eminence’s office, received by Shia Waves News Agency, said: “The Office took the initiative to distribute 110 heaters to the needy and poor families in the city of Mazar-Sharif.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It continued that such initiatives and humanitarian assistance are provided “under the auspices of the Awaited Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance).”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
