{"id":87678,"date":"2022-11-14T10:37:13","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T10:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/?p=87678"},"modified":"2022-11-14T10:37:18","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T10:37:18","slug":"mosque-in-middleborough-opens-its-door-to-other-faiths-to-learn-about-islam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/united-kingdom\/87678-mosque-in-middleborough-opens-its-door-to-other-faiths-to-learn-about-islam\/","title":{"rendered":"Mosque in Middleborough opens its door to other faiths to learn about Islam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A mosque in Teesside, UK, opened its doors for people and answered their questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Masjid, on Southfield Road in Middlesbrough, hosted a day of tours, Q&amp;A sessions with snacks and refreshments for the public to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teessiders were able to experience what happens inside their local mosque as part of the local initiative &#8216;Discover Middlesbrough&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People of all ages, gender and religion stepped inside the mosque to learn something new and find answers to questions they had been wanting to know about the Islamic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the busy and exciting day, members of the mosque were asked lots of questions ranging from their beliefs to their clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gohar Ihsan, Chairman of Central Masjid said: \u201cEveryone really enjoyed the opportunity to visit a mosque and see what happens inside and many people were surprised to hear what the Islamic faith taught. It was a very productive day with a lot of conversations over a cup of tea.
