On Friday, the Najaf Holy Quran Institute for Women, affiliated with the al-Abbas Holy Shrine, organized the fifth edition of the National Quran Memorization Competition for Women, according to the Al-Kafeel website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minar al-Jabouri, head of the institute, said female Quran memorizers and Quranic figures from different provinces of the Arab country are taking part in the Quranic event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She said the contenders were briefed on the competition\u2019s regulations and assessment criteria at the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Jabouri, the participants have made it to the competition after passing the preliminary stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They compete in the memorization of the entire Holy Quran, she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
