The Kingdom of Jordan, through its Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Nayef Al-Fayez, welcomed on Sunday, 25th of September, the visit of Shia Muslims from different countries of the world to religious sites and honorable shrines in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al-Fayez said in an interview with (France 24) channel, followed by Shia Waves News Agency: “Jordan welcomes Shia visitors in general to visit Islamic shrines and has no policy to prevent any Shia tourists.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jordan has many Islamic shrines and sites, including the tombs of the venerable companions Jaafar bin Abi Talib, Zaid bin Haritha and Abdullah bin Rawahah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Official figures show that Jordan has received hundreds of Shia visitors during the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
