In an interview with the Corriere della Sera newspaper, the Pope added that “the West as a whole is not currently a typical example. The West has taken the wrong path, with regard to social justice.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pope Francis described the West as humanity’s biggest graveyard, and pointed to Europe’s demographic problems, adding that Brussels, in these circumstances, was pursuing a wrong policy on immigration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe need people in Spain, in Italy. Why is the West not pursuing a policy of migrant integration?\u201d the Pontiff asked<\/p>\n\n\n\n
