A rockslide occurred at the Droplet Site (Qattara) of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, west of holy Karbala, injuring 4 people and trapping 8 others, according to an initial outcome, as the Civil Defense Directorate has sent additional rescue teams to rescue the trapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A security source said in a statement, “A rockslide occurred west of Karbala at the Droplet Site (Qattara) of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, resulting in the injury of four people, as a preliminary outcome, who were transferred to Al-Hussein General Hospital.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It stated, “There are 8 people who are still trapped under the rubble, while two of them have been rescued.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The source explained, “The rescue teams are trying to rescue the trapped and are dealing in a technical way, because of the presence of rocks directed towards them and they are afraid that they will fall on them.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
