The holy city of Karbala will witness the massive mourning procession of Bani Asad tribe, which commemorates the burial anniversary of al-Taff martyrs\u2019 bodies on the 13th of Muharram after the noon and afternoon prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This mourning procession dates back to the year of 61 AH, three days after the tragedy of Karbala; when the Bani Asad tribe’s men came to bury the martyrs\u2019 bodies and then Imam Zain al-Abideen miraculously joined them and buried the pure bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance, addressed Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, saying: \u201cPeace be upon Him who has been buried by the people of the villages\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every year, Shia mourners from all over the world come to holy Karbala to attend this mourning procession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Bani Asad tribe\u2019s women complete their mourning ceremonies, the tribe\u2019s men enter with the Bedouins into Imam Hussein\u2019s, peace be upon him, holy shrine to perform a ceremonial funeral and to mourn and lament the Imam and his honorable companions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
