The manuscript is a handwritten Quran that dates back to the beginning of Islamic history, according to tests carried out by the Department of Archeology and Art History of the University of Oxford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The manuscript belongs to a family residing in the Swiss city of Geneva, which traveled between the Levant, Medina and Mecca for many centuries, and had kept that manuscript of the Quran centuries ago and never used it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
