The Afghan Security Directorate (Intelligence) said that among the detainees were at least 75 women and 159 children, most of whom were foreigners.<\/p>\n
Most of those detained in these campaigns are from Pakistan and Central Asian countries, according to an official from the Security Directorate, who asked to remain anonymous.<\/p>\n
The Afghan official added that among the arrested militants, 277 were foreigners.<\/p>\n
