The UAE is taking the metaverse to another level, releasing the initial metaverse hospital to offer medical tourism services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The metaverse hospital will be managed by the Thumbay Group, a healthcare provider which has now started working on the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The virtual hospital will be a place where guests can visit using avatars and get connected with virtual doctors and healthcare physicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As stated by Dr. Thumbay Moideen, founder of the Thumbay Group, the hospital will release before October of the current year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to help long-term care patients who have been bedridden for at least six months, or who are paralysed, Thumbay Group offers augmented reality and virtual reality metaverse technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This impressive technology comes as a saviour as patients would be able to access their homes through this giving them a hope of returning back to their homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Thumbay Moideen stated, \u201cThe hospital is giving them AR and VR headsets so that they can see their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This motivates long-term care patients and gives them hope that they can go back to their country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The hospital system will incorporate artificial intelligence, and a new feature will recognise every patient\u2019s face and detect their car number plate as they enter the hospital, with their files already open and waiting for them at the front desk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
