The Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has concluded recording the episodes of its competition \u2018The Orphan\u2019s Poet\u2019, which it launched in support of its project – the Charter for the Protection of Iraq’s Orphans – in cooperation with Imam Hussein TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Foundation launched the competition within its project – the Charter for the Protection of Iraq’s Orphans – and under the auspices of the office of His Eminence, the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dozens of poets from various Iraqi provinces and cities participated, after the Foundation contacted the unions and associations of Iraq\u2019s poets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Six television episodes were recorded, which will be aired soon on Imam Hussein TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition focuses on two poetic themes: folk and popular, represented by the jury members Dr. Jalil Al-Yasiri and Dr. Ali Hussein Youssef; and Ali Salman Ghali and Alaa Al-Yassin, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The names of the winners of the competition were announced. They are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
