On the International Day for Tolerance, the International Nonviolence Organization, Free Muslim, called on political systems represented by governments and official institutions in Arab and Islamic countries to work on spreading tolerance to get rid of the accumulated crises.
The organization stated, in a statement received by Shia Waves, that the international community commemorates on the sixteenth of November the International Day for Tolerance, in a reminder of the human instinct that God Almighty created man as a social instinct by which the Creator wanted peace and harmony among humans.
It added, “History has proven to us that tolerance was and still is a basic pillar for societies and individuals to enjoy material and moral environments where prosperity, stability and absolute tranquility prevail.\u201d
The organization stressed that it uses this occasion to add its voice to the appeals and voices aimed at spreading a culture of tolerance in the international community, and in turn calls on the political systems represented by governments and official institutions in Arab and Islamic countries to work on spreading tolerance to get rid of the accumulated crises due to extremism. The organization also called for launching humanitarian initiatives, foremost of which is the release of prisoners of conscience and political prisoners, and the mitigation of criminal sentences against other prisoners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
