The Al Yasin Mosque and Husseiniyah in the Australian capital, Sydney, concluded the mourning ceremonies for the month of Safar by reviving a mourning ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Redha, peace be upon him, attended by the Shia communities in the country.
Those in charge of the mosque, who are followers of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Shirazi, said, \u201cThe lovers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, attended a mourning ceremony held on the tragic commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Redh and Imam al-Hassan, peace be upon them.
The organizers added that “Religious lectures in Arabic and English were delivered in the ceremonies to commemorate these great occasions and to introduce the magnitude of the injustice that the Noble Prophet and his pure family, peace be upon them, were subjected to.”
