{"id":7891,"date":"2019-08-05T12:46:19","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T12:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/islam\/7891-jordanian-minister-of-endowment-the-site-of-prophet-harun-remains-closed\/"},"modified":"2019-08-05T12:46:19","modified_gmt":"2019-08-05T12:46:19","slug":"jordanian-minister-of-endowment-the-site-of-prophet-harun-remains-closed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/islam\/7891-jordanian-minister-of-endowment-the-site-of-prophet-harun-remains-closed\/","title":{"rendered":"Jordanian Minister of Endowment: The Site of Prophet Harun remains closed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.16px;\">Jordan&#8217;s Minister of Endowments, Abdel Nasser Abu Al-Basal, denied the entry of any tourists to the Site of Prophet Harun, peace be upon him, which has been closed since<\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.16px;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jordan&#8217;s Minister of Endowments, Abdel Nasser Abu Al-Basal, denied the entry of any tourists to the Site of Prophet Harun, peace be upon him, which has been closed since last Thursday after a video of Israeli tourists performing Jewish rituals there circulated media.<\/p>\n<p>This came in a statement from the Jordanian minister, by telephone from Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>The Prophet\u2019s Site is located in the southern province of Petra and has been closed since the decision was made to close it.<\/p>\n<p>Local media reported attempts by the Israeli Embassy in Jordan to facilitate the entry of Israeli tourists to it.
