Yesterday, the first group of Kuwaiti pilgrims began walking on foot towards the holy city of Karbala to commemorate Arbaeen, as the people of Safwan in Basra province opened their doors to receive and provide services for them.
Our correspondent in Kuwait reported that \u201cA large crowd of Ahlulbayt lovers and followers of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi from the State of Kuwait, prepared to walk on foot from their residential areas towards the Iraqi border and from there to the holy Karbala to commemorate the Arbaeen.”
\u201cHowever, the pilgrims arrived with the closure of the border with Iraq, but nevertheless they flew from Kuwait Airport and landed at Basra Airport, where the residents of Basra greeted them with welcome,” added the correspondent.
