Taliban militants have released 40 security personnel who were prisoners in Guzjan province in northern Afghanistan, provincial spokesman Abdulhadi Jamal said Monday.<\/p>\n
Jamal said a group of 40 security personnel, mostly policemen, had been released by the Taliban and arrived in the city of Shebergan, capital of Guzjan province, on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
This is the second batch of security forces released by the Taliban in Guzjan over the past week.<\/p>\n
