{"id":7747,"date":"2019-07-08T13:00:36","date_gmt":"2019-07-08T13:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/world\/7747-bahraini-court-acquits-private-adviser-to-head-of-chamber-of-commerce\/"},"modified":"2019-07-08T13:00:36","modified_gmt":"2019-07-08T13:00:36","slug":"bahraini-court-acquits-private-adviser-to-head-of-chamber-of-commerce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/world\/7747-bahraini-court-acquits-private-adviser-to-head-of-chamber-of-commerce\/","title":{"rendered":"Bahraini court acquits private adviser to head of Chamber of Commerce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-size: 12.16px;\">The First Criminal Court has acquitted the legal adviser to the head of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yasser Al-Attar, who was charged of insulting the Shia sect.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12.16px;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>The First Criminal Court has acquitted the legal adviser to the head of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yasser Al-Attar, who was charged of insulting the Shia sect.<\/p>\n<p>On April 26, 2019, the Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office announced the arrest of Al-Attar by the security authorities at the Bahrain International Airport as he was trying to leave the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Office said that it initiated the investigation, issued an order to arrest, detain the suspect, and prevent him from traveling, to check all the records of the incident and to ask the police to investigate the incident. A member of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported that one of the legal advisers had given insulting statements to him in addition to beating him.<\/p>\n<p>The testimonies of both the victim and the witnesses were heard.
