Today, Tuesday, a parliamentary committee called on the Canadian government to return the children of ISIS who hold Canadian citizenship to their country without adults, as many foreigners who participated in Iraq and Syria are still in Al-Hol camp in northeastern Syria.
Al-Monitor newspaper reported that a few Canadian ISIS terrorists were returned to the country, while many are still there, and no decision has been taken regarding their return, as is the case with hundreds of foreign ISIS members whose countries refuse to extradite them.
It added that the Permanent Committee on Foreign Affairs in the Canadian House of Commons recognized the presence of 45 people from the ISIS terrorist organization who hold Canadian citizenship in Al-Hol camp in northeastern Syria, where the group consists of eight men, 13 women and 24 children, most of whom are under the age of six.
The newspaper indicated that the Parliamentary Committee recommended, in a report to the Canadian government, to continue all possible options for the return of Canadian children detained in the Al-Hol and Roj camps in northeastern Syria.
The report indicated that the camps in Syria include thousands of Iraqi and Syrian fighters, in addition to hundreds of foreigners from North America, Europe, Asia and other places.
The report mentioned that last February, the United Nations had invited 57 countries, including Canada, to return their citizens affiliated with ISIS terrorist organization, however, those countries refused to return them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
