According to media reports, unknown persons placed posters containing racist and anti-Islam expressions on a street lamp in front of a mosque in the German state of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg.
A statement issued by the Islamic Union stated that the posters contained obscene expressions against Muslims such as “Germany is for Germans” and “Let the Foreigners Leave.”
The head of the mosque, Ali Ipekcioglu, pointed out that \u201cthe mosque was built 35 years ago and has not been subjected to any such attack,\u201d indicating that \u201cthe worshipers noticed the posters while leaving the Friday prayer, and reported it to the police immediately.\u201d
The police have launched an investigation to track the perpetrators.
