{"id":6447,"date":"2018-09-23T07:24:49","date_gmt":"2018-09-23T07:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/islam\/6447-imam-hussein-teaches-us-to-fight-terrorism-prompt-affinity\/"},"modified":"2018-09-23T07:24:49","modified_gmt":"2018-09-23T07:24:49","slug":"imam-hussein-teaches-us-to-fight-terrorism-prompt-affinity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/islam\/6447-imam-hussein-teaches-us-to-fight-terrorism-prompt-affinity\/","title":{"rendered":"Imam Hussein teaches us to fight terrorism, prompt affinity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistan\u2019s President, Arif Alvi has said that the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, is a lesson for everyone to never refrain from fighting against terrorism, extremism and intolerant ideology and emphasized on promoting affinity and brotherhood.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4>Pakistan\u2019s President, Arif Alvi has said that the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, is a lesson for everyone to never refrain from fighting against terrorism, extremism and intolerant ideology and emphasized on promoting affinity and brotherhood.<\/h4>\n<h4>\u201cLet us pledge on this day to take solid steps in light of \u2018Uswah-e-Shabbiri\u2019 which ensures respect for mankind, solidarity of democracy and promoting Islamic values for the development and prosperity of the country,\u201d the President said in a message to nation on Youm-e-Ashura on 9th and 10th Muharram.<\/h4>\n<h4>President Arif Alvi said the Youm-e-Ashur reminds of the great sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala which were rendered for upholding the supremacy of truth and Islam.<\/h4>\n<h4>\u201cThe martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, acts as a source of guidance for Muslims to not to refrain even from laying down their lives while fighting the elements of oppression and tyranny,\u201d he said.<\/h4>\n<h4>The President said it is a day when the grandson and family of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure progeny, sacrificed their lives in the battle of truth and falsehood and made the lesson of Karbala as a beacon of light for entire humanity in general and for the Muslim Ummah in particular.<\/h4>\n<h4>\u201cThe Karbala incident teaches us the significance of sacrifice in way to attainment of greater objectives.
