Local sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Yemen\u2019s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network that the vehicles were traveling along a road in the Ghaferah area of al-Dhaher district when they were attacked.<\/p>\n
The sources added that 11 people were killed and as many others, mostly women and children, injured. The death toll is expected to rise as some of the injured are said to be in critical condition.<\/p>\n
Separately, a woman was killed when Saudi military aircraft struck a residential building in the Haydan district of the same Yemeni province. The aerial raids reportedly caused extensive damage at the area.<\/p>\n
