According to ICRO, 36 students took part in the contest.<\/h4>\n

A large number of Muslims and members of religious institutes were present at venue of the contest earlier this week.\u00a0\u00a0<\/h4>\n

In an address at the awarding ceremony, one of the participants highlighted the status of the Holy Quran among Muslims in Ghana.<\/h4>\n

Ghana is a country in West Africa. Islam is one of the major religions practiced widely in the country. Its presence in modern-day Ghana dates back to the 10th century.<\/h4>\n

The population of Muslims in Ghana makes up about 24 percent of the country\u2019s population.<\/h4>\n
