{"id":5291,"date":"2018-01-08T13:16:08","date_gmt":"2018-01-08T13:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/atabat\/5291-imam-hussein-shrine-opens-contemporary-theater-in-karbala\/"},"modified":"2018-01-08T13:16:08","modified_gmt":"2018-01-08T13:16:08","slug":"imam-hussein-shrine-opens-contemporary-theater-in-karbala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/atabat\/5291-imam-hussein-shrine-opens-contemporary-theater-in-karbala\/","title":{"rendered":"Imam Hussein Shrine opens contemporary theater in Karbala"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Cultural House in the holy city of Karbala has witnessed a play titled \u201cSejeem\u201d in the remembrance of the Iraq\u2019s martyrs.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4>The Cultural House in the holy city of Karbala has witnessed a play titled \u201cSejeem\u201d in the remembrance of the Iraq\u2019s martyrs.<\/h4>\n<h4>The play was attended by a great number of academics, artists, directors, and educationists.<\/h4>\n<h4>Alaa El-Bashiq, director of Contemporary Theater Division of Imam Hussein Shrine, said, \u201cWe are celebrating the Contemporary Theater Division has been established, which is meant to enrich the theater movement with young creative people.\u201d<\/h4>\n<h4>He said further that the division was named \u201cThe Contemporary Theater\u201d was because it keeps pace with the world and deals with what is going on according to the Islamic fundamentals and the revolution of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.<\/h4>\n<h4>He added, \u201cThe division prepared plans to hold workshops specialized in production, composing, acting, scenography, voice, and performance.
