{"id":4631,"date":"2017-08-22T06:14:05","date_gmt":"2017-08-22T06:14:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/islam\/4631-shia-quranic-martyr-commemorated-in-qatif\/"},"modified":"2017-08-22T06:14:05","modified_gmt":"2017-08-22T06:14:05","slug":"shia-quranic-martyr-commemorated-in-qatif","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/news\/islam\/4631-shia-quranic-martyr-commemorated-in-qatif\/","title":{"rendered":"Shia Quranic martyr commemorated in Qatif"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A memorial service was held for Amin Muhammad al-Hani, a prominent Quranic figure in the Shia-majority region of Qatif who was killed by Saudi regime forces in June.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4>A memorial service was held for Amin Muhammad al-Hani, a prominent Quranic figure in the Shia-majority region of Qatif who was killed by Saudi regime forces in June.<\/h4>\n<h4>The commemoration ceremony was held in Jarudiya town in Qatif on Thursday.\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4>Organized by the Qaris Council of Eastern Province, it was attended by the martyr\u2019s family members and the region\u2019s Quranic and religious figures.\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4>A number of Qaris recited verses from the Quran at the event and elegies were also recited in tribute to the martyr.<\/h4>\n<h4>Addressing the ceremony, Ahmad al-Hani, the martyr\u2019s son, underlined his efforts to serve the Quran and promote fraternity, compassion and benevolence in society.
