A Quran exhibition has opened in the province of Qatif, Saudi Arabia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Launched on Monday, October 13, it displays various copies of the Holy Book including one weighing 10 kilograms, another being 8 meters long and another copy dating back to 722 years ago.<\/p>\n
According to the director of the expo, it also features translations of the Quran in different languages, Quran copies in Braille for the visually-impaired, as well as Quranic artworks and historical items and pieces of jewelry on which Quranic verses have been inscribed.<\/p>\n
He said the expo also has a special section in which visitors learn about how old copies of the Quran are repaired and protected.<\/p>\n
