Two bomb explosions have hit the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, killing at least 22 people and injuring 54 others.<\/p>\n
The first blast took place outside a popular ice cream shop in the predominantly Shia district of Karrada in Baghdad early on Tuesday, killing 15 people and injuring 24 others.<\/p>\n
Another car bomb exploded near the Shuhada Bridge in Baghdad, killing 7 and wounding 21 others, according to reports.<\/p>\n
It came just days after the start of the holy month of Ramadan, when Iraqi families often stay out late after breaking their daily fast.<\/p>\n
The Takfiri Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the bombing, with its affiliated Amaq outlet saying the bomber had targeted a \u201cgathering of Shias.\u201d<\/p>\n
