The third annual al-Ghadeer International Festival will be held on October 19 in the holy city of Najaf.<\/p>\n

A member of the organizing committee of the festival said that al-Ghadeer forum is the most important part of the festival in which four main themes will be discussed.<\/p>\n
The themes will be “Ghadeer incident and its importance in Islamic thought”, “Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and Islamic government”, “Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and human thought”, and ” Eid al-Ghadeer in Arabic and world literature.”<\/p>\n
He added that the committee has sent more than 500 invitation letters to religious and academic figures in 12 provinces of Iraq and 30 Arab Muslim and non-Muslim countries.<\/p>\n
