Representative of the Shia towns of Al-Fu’ah and Kefriya in the Syrian People Assembly on Sunday urged the UN and international human rights institutions to pay due attention to the desperate situation of the besieged people of these two regions.<\/p>\n
Hussein Ragheb al-Hussein who is also deputy head of the Syrian National Dialogue Commission made the remarks in a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab-African Affairs Hossein Ansari.<\/p>\n
The MP referred to lack of food, drug and fuel in the towns of Al-Fu’ah and Kafariya and said 12 citizens, most of them children, have died from hunger in the recent days.<\/p>\n
