On February 2, Al-Khoei Foundation conducted a Shia Educational Conference for RE teachers from all around the UK.<\/p>\n
The conference focused on the new criteria on the new GCSE which examines now Shia Beliefs and Practices. \u00a0The conference was well attended and teachers remarked that they were very grateful \u00a0for \u00a0accessing \u00a0accurate \u00a0materials about the \u00a0Shia perspective \u00a0of Islam, where in their area they were limited to Sunni \u00a0mosques.<\/p>\n
Al-Khoei Foundation\u2019s recently-published guide book for RE teachers on teaching Shia Islam was also launched during the conference.<\/p>\n
