Twin suicide bombers have sneaked into the University of Maiduguri, Borno state, and detonated heavy explosives at a mosque near of the institution.<\/p>\n
Eyewitnesses told Saharareporters that an explosion rocked the university during early morning while some students and staff of the university were observing prayer at 6:30 am.<\/p>\n
Monday\u2019s explosion comes less than three days after four suicide bombers killed 15 people in Madagali town in the northern part of Adamawa State.<\/p>\n
It was not clear if the explosions came from suicide bombers or were planted bombs, police said.<\/p>\n
Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, it is believed to have been carried out by Boko Haram terrorists.<\/p>\n
