\u00a0The Shias, who represent thirty present of the Kuwaiti population, had six members namely, Adnan AbdulSamad, Salih Ashur, and Khalid Ibil. People of Kuwait called that the Shias should have more members in the parliament to fit their proportion in the nation.<\/p>\n
Polling stations have closed on the evening of Saturday in an election which saw a high turnout reached in some circles to eighty percent of those registered in, Kuwaiti voters in the five constituencies cast their ballots to elect fifty members in the National Assembly.<\/p>\n
