Approximately 500 deaf and mute, from Babylon province, take part in a Husseini Services Unit, to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein on the road to his holy Shrine in Karbala.<\/p>\n
Unit supervisor, Muhammad Abbas, stated that Ahbab al-Zahra, located at ‘Twarij Gate’ area, has been providing its services to the pilgrims for the past ten years.<\/p>\n
Most of the Husseini servants, who are deaf and mute, stated that losing their senses could not stop them from providing their services to the pilgrims of Imam Hussein.<\/p>\n
Ahbab al-Zahra Services Unit, will continue providing their services until the departure of the last pilgrim from Karbala.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning that 500 deaf and mute Husseini servants, are taking part at Ahbab al-Zahra Husseini Services Unit in addition to a number of those who know Sign language.<\/p>\n
