Statistics reveal that eight thousand processions are from the holy city of Karbala.<\/p>\n
Riyadh Ni\u2019ma, the head of Husseini Rituals and Processions Department, said that \u201cThe service processions will be located on the main roads linked to the holy city of Karbala.\u201d<\/p>\n
Last year, 7800 processions were registered. This number is on the rise every year as Ahlulbayt followers love serving Imam Hussein\u2019s beloved pilgrims.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning that the statistics include only the registered Husseini processions, while there are thousands of active unregistered processions.<\/p>\n
