Karachi police\u2019s Counter-Terrorism Department have arrested four militants trained in Afghanistan from the Korangi and Orangi areas of the metropolis.<\/p>\n
The suspected militants were involved in the killings of security personnel and members of the Shia community including other terror acts.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe CTD team and personnel of an intelligence agency conducted targeted raids in Orangi and Korangi, during the raids four terrorists were detained,\u201d said CTD-II SSP Junaid Ahmad Shaikh.<\/p>\n
The police official said that the arrested individuals were \u2018experts\u2019 in the manufacture of improvised explosive devices (IED) and suicide vests.<\/p>\n
