Getting familiar with the fundamental principles of Islam, accepting monotheism, prophecy of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny, as well as confessing to the Succession of Imam Ali, peace nbe upon him, the visiting tourists reverted to Shia Muslims.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs of Imam Redha Holy Shrine, Jawad Hashem Nejad, said that the Swedish tourists, four women and a man, have accepted Islam after long study.<\/p>\n
Several non-Iranian pilgrims including 10 European and American citizens have reverted to Islam in the Holy Shrine in the past Iranian calendar year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Several non-Muslims also reverted to Islam from Christianity in recent months including a German, a Brazilian lady and a Swiss student in separate ceremonies held in Shah-e Cheragh Holy Shrine in Shiraz.<\/p>\n
