Sometimes it gets to the point where it hurts me, but I don\u2019t sit there silently,\u201d she said. \u201cI talk back to them and say that they shouldn\u2019t talk to me that way.\u201d<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">Mohammad Ziaullah of Congers, a trustee at Islamic Center of Rockland, said better communication with non-Muslims is not only imperative, but religiously mandated. \u201cOn the day of judgment,\u201d he said, \u201cGod will ask if we reached out to those who don\u2019t know about Islam,\u201d not to convert, but to foster understanding. \u201cWe have to make an effort to know each other.\u201d<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\u00a0<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>agreement that those who commit acts of terror in the name of Islam are corrupting their religion \u00a0 Muslims living in Westchester and Rockland are in agreement that those who commit acts of terror in the name of Islam are corrupting their religion.
