According to Malaysian newspaper Sinar Harian, the incident occurred on October 5 at Masjid Azizul Hadi, in the Kota S.P.P. Warisan area. The damage was discovered on the mosque\u2019s prayer carpets, prompting security authorities to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/p>\n
Tumpat police chief Khairi Shafie said the suspect, who works as a driver, had been detained and placed in police custody for four days to facilitate further investigations and the collection of evidence.<\/p>\n
