Two Days Dedicated to Arabic Calligraphy at Grand Mosque of Paris

\nThe Grand Mosque of Paris will host two days of activities dedicated to Arabic calligraphy on September 19 and 20, as part of its centenary celebrations and the 2026 European Heritage Days.<\/p>\n
The event aims to introduce visitors to Arabic calligraphy, one of the major artistic traditions of the Islamic world, through exhibitions, workshops, and cultural programs.<\/p>\n
A free exhibition titled \u201cArabic Calligraphy: Ink, Point and Stroke\u201d will showcase the artistic dimensions of calligraphic writing, highlighting the role of ink, composition, and the movement of the calligrapher\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n
The program will also include Arabic calligraphy workshops led by members of the jury of the first International Calligraphy Competition organized by the Grand Mosque of Paris. Participation in the workshops and the competition evening requires prior registration.<\/p>\n
The activities will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both days, with free admission.<\/p>\n
