Muizzu made the remarks during a ceremony held at Hulhumal\u00e9 Central Park marking 900 years since the arrival of Islam in the Maldives. He highlighted the role of Islam in shaping Maldivian society, values, and traditions throughout history.<\/p>\n
The president said Islamic principles have contributed to strengthening social stability, trust, and cohesion, stressing the importance of preserving religious values and passing them on to future generations.<\/p>\n
