40 Turkish Female Students Memorize Quran in 75-Day Program

\nForty female students in Turkey have completed memorization of the entire Quran after participating in an intensive 75-day program organized in Istanbul.<\/p>\n
The program was held at Sabahattin Zaim University in cooperation with Turkey\u2019s Knowledge Dissemination Foundation (Yayg\u0131n E\u011fitim Vakf\u0131). The students received certificates at a ceremony attended by university officials, foundation representatives, local authorities and their families.<\/p>\n
The event included Quran recitations and speeches by participants before certificates were presented to the graduates.<\/p>\n
Necmettin Bilal Erdo\u011fan, Chairman of the Foundation\u2019s Board of Trustees, said the program combines rapid memorization, understanding of Quranic meanings and the use of traditional musical modes known as maqamat.
