Andreas Schleicher, director for education and skills at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and founder of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), has warned that passive consumption of digital content does not strengthen learning abilities. He compared mental development to physical fitness, saying that the brain requires active engagement through reading, reflection, and problem-solving.<\/p>\n
