According to organizers, the procession is the largest of its kind in the country, bringing together thousands of members of Muslim communities and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to commemorate the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and to honor the values of justice, dignity, and resistance to oppression associated with his legacy.<\/p>\n
Participants carried Husseini flags and banners while chanting slogans expressing their commitment to Imam Hussein’s principles and universal message. The event drew people of all ages and backgrounds.<\/p>\n
To facilitate the procession, local authorities implemented traffic and security measures. Dearborn Police temporarily closed the northbound lanes of Greenfield Road between Warren Avenue and Ford Road for several hours to ensure the safety of participants and manage traffic flow.<\/p>\n
