\nGrand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has praised the Iraqi people for what he described as their exceptional spirit of sacrifice and generosity in serving pilgrims of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), particularly during this year’s Arbaeen pilgrimage, which drew millions of participants from Iraq and around the world.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi said the Iraqi people had demonstrated the highest examples of devotion and selflessness by mobilizing their resources to meet the needs of pilgrims. He noted that many Iraqis willingly made significant personal sacrifices, including selling their homes, businesses, vehicles, and other possessions, to support the millions of visitors, praying that God reward them abundantly.<\/p>\n
