Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Opens 1,350-Square-Meter “Ali Al-Akbar” Hall to Serve Arbaeen Pilgrims

\nThe Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has inaugurated the Ali Al-Akbar Hall as part of the Aqila Zainab Courtyard project, expanding its facilities to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims arriving in Karbala for the Arbaeen pilgrimage.<\/p>\n
According to the Holy Shrine, the new hall forms part of its annual Arbaeen service plan aimed at strengthening infrastructure and enhancing the range of services available to millions of visitors.<\/p>\n
The newly opened hall covers 1,350 square meters and is equipped with air conditioning and a range of amenities designed to provide pilgrims with a comfortable environment during their stay in the holy city.<\/p>\n
The project also includes an outdoor plaza spanning approximately 5,000 square meters, intended to improve crowd movement, provide additional resting areas, and ease congestion around the shrine during the peak pilgrimage period.<\/p>\n
The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine stated that it continues to implement a comprehensive Arbaeen operational plan by mobilizing its service, medical, engineering, logistical, and volunteer teams across Karbala, along pilgrimage routes, and at Iraq’s border crossings to support pilgrims arriving from within the country and abroad.<\/p>\n
